A Place For Submitting to God

The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God by giving Him our worship and by receiving His Word. We believe the Bible and accept it as God's Word to man, a book that is alive and relevant to life today. Submitting to the truths we have learned from God's Word is a thrilling adventure. This submission is evidenced by those who provide tender loving care for very small children during all services. Each pre-school facility is well staffed by compassionate adults who watch over infants in rooms that are clean, airy, and well-lighted.

A Place For Seeking God

Lebanon Baptist Church's teaching ministries are designed to bring God's timeless truths into our daily lives. In our educational ministries, the Bible is more than a storybook or textbook - it is a book for living. Our Bible teachers and leaders who are instructing children, youth, and adults, are using methods and materials designed to teach the Bible in a fresh, relevant, and understandable manner.
Our Sunday school has various Bible study classes designed to meet the needs of people at different age levels. For the younger ages, our Sunday school extends beyond the confines of the classroom and encourages children toward Christlikeness in their homes, in their schools, and in their relationships with friends and peers. Similarly, our dynamic youth ministry has become well known throughout the community as a setting in which teenagers can make positive life decisions. Our adult-education ministries have been described as "life changing," because they give singles, couples, and seniors the tools they need to live a victorious Christian life every day of the week. One of those adults ministries is called Mending Hearts. This program is designed to help people with addictions, co-dependencies, divorce, family crisis, and grief recovery.

Most importantly, the process of Christian education at Lebanon Baptist Church is committed to teaching the Bible in a way that transforms students into teachers, disciples into disciple makers, and seekers into guides.
